2018 - The Beginning

Started out of a tiny WeWork office because honestly, we were tired of seeing startups get terrible tax advice. Too many founders were getting burned by accountants who didn't get the tech world at all.

2019 - Crypto Deep Dive

When Bitcoin hit the news again, we saw the writing on the wall. Spent months learning every angle of crypto taxation - CRA rules, tracking software, the whole nine yards. Our first crypto client? A miner with over 2,000 transactions to sort through.

2021 - Team Expansion

Moved to our Burrard Street office and brought on three more accountants. The pandemic actually helped us grow - turns out remote startups need solid financial guidance more than ever.

2023 - CFO Services Launch

Added fractional CFO services after too many clients asked us "so what do these numbers actually mean?" Now we're not just crunching numbers, we're helping shape financial strategy from day one.

2025 - Today

We're working with over 150 tech startups and crypto traders across BC. Still learning something new every week because that's just how this space works. The tools change, the regulations shift, but our commitment stays the same.

What We're Actually About

We built Jade Crythonix because we saw a gap - smart people building cool things who needed accountants that actually understood their world. Not just someone who could fill out forms, but folks who get why you're paying gas fees at 2am or why your cap table looks like that.

We've been deep in the Vancouver tech scene since 2018, and honestly? We love this stuff. Every crypto transaction puzzle, every startup financial model, every cross-border tax question - it keeps things interesting.
